Want to gain more dive experience and improve your buoyancy.

Want to dive deeper than 18m.

Want to sample different types of diving.

What you’ll learn

Advanced Open Water Diver is 5 adventure dives which allow you to incorporate exciting new experiences such as Navigation, Buoyancy, Deep and Night diving!

You’ll have access to more elearning for the Advanced Open Water course. Unlike Open Water you only have to complete the first section and then the section for each specific adventure dive you’ll do. There is a knowledge review for each section but no final exam.

We’ll give you a schedule with each dive on it, they are usually Deep, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night and Boat. The course is usually run over Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Before each dive, your instructor will give a workshop and briefing on the dive you’re about to do. On the dive, there will be specific skills to learn.

On completion, you will be certified to dive to 30m (21m for 12-14 year olds).

The gear you’ll use

You’ll use your normal SCUBA gear, you may have bought some of your own by now. Equipment is included for use on your course. You’ll use new gear like torches and surface marker buoys.
