Jersey is the largest and most southerly of the Channel
Islands. Located in the Bay of St Malo, it is approximately 100
miles south of Great Britain and only 14 miles from France. It
is a British island, although being so close to France it has a
good blend of British and French influences.
Jersey is only nine miles by five but boasts a rich and varied
landscape. It boasts one of Europe’s richest natural
habitats, with secluded bays, wooded valleys, and rolling dunes
to explore and enjoy. The Island offers a host of activities and
attractions, both relaxing and adrenalin fuelled.
Surrounded by beautiful seas and bays it offers a great deal of
water based adventures both above and below the surface.
Sailing, surfing, body boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, jet
skiing and swimming are all popular activities. Jersey’s beaches
also consistently feature in the
Good Beach Guide. In 2010, the quality of the
Island’s bathing water was amongst the cleanest it has been
since records began, with all 16 of the Island’s most popular
bathing waters passing the European Imperative Standard, whilst
14 out of the 16 further passed the stringent European Guide
Standard. With Jersey being the sunniest place in Britain you
can always just sunbathe on one of our pristine beaches!
On land you can explore the Island’s history, from Neolithic
ruins to World War 2 German fortifications, cycle on the
Green Lanes, walk the coastal path network, visit castles,
musuems, the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and numerous
other attractions and watch events such as the world famous
Battle of Flowers and the Jersey International Air Display.
In fact there are so many things to do in Jersey it would be
impossible to list them all here, so go to

picture of the uniqueness of Jersey, and remember that we are
always willing to help you arrange both diving and non diving
activities around the island.
